It’s a happy day. We’ve just heard that LeftBrain is now a National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) Assured Service Provider for the delivery of Cyber Essentials services, also known as the Cyber Advisor scheme.

Aside from sounding pretty cool, this scheme is designed to ensure that organisations receive high-quality, ethical, and impartial cybersecurity advice. “It’s a big deal”, explains Charlie Naughton-Rumbo, CISO and one of the Directors at LeftBrain. “Our mission has always been to partner with innovative impactful companies to make internal technology their strategic advantage. Having this Cyber Advisor string to our bow means potential and current clients can further trust that our guidance is driven by what’s best for their cyber security posture, not by trying to upsell products and services.”

Charlie, alongside LeftBrain’s Information Security team, has led LeftBrain through ISO 27001 certification to demonstrate that we have a mature security programme, and through ISO 9001 certification to demonstrate we can provide quality, scalable services. He continues: “to become an NCSC Assured Service Provider, we had to undergo a rigorous evaluation process, complete these ISO certifications, and then pass an incredibly tough exam to test our consultation abilities and knowledge on Cyber Essentials. I’m incredibly proud of the LeftBrain team. We have worked hard to meet the standards set out by an official government body, enabling us to carry out high impact, scalable security projects.”

“NCSC’s aim is to make the UK the safest place to live and work online, helping to secure the connected technology that makes a sustainable future possible. It is therefore a privilege to be added to their list of assured Cyber Advisors, and to contribute to defending our clients’ digital infrastructures. Bring it on!”
